Man killed after tire flies off car

A man in New Jersey was killed on March 26 after a vehicle lost its tire and caused a four-car crash. The fatal car accident took place in Denville while the 77-year-old victim was traveling in an Audi along Interstate 80 with his 66-year-old wife. Although the man's wife was injured in the crash, her injuries were not life threatening.

Police and prosecutor investigating death of New Jersey bicyclist

The police department in Paramus, New Jersey, and the Bergen County Prosecutor's office continue to look into the accident the killed one bicyclist and injured another. Two men, ages 23 and 24, were heading east on Midland Avenue in Paramus when an eastbound Jeep Grand Cherokee struck them, according to a police news release.

Charges could be pending following a two-car collision on Route 206 in Frankford on Dec. 24. New Jersey State Police said the accident occurred around 10:50 a.m. during a period of heavy rain.
