Tesla Car Company Under Investigation After Man’s Work Injury

Companies aspire and strive to meet customer demands for their product. To meet high demands, sometimes production is sped up. With a faster output on the assembly line, it can raise the risk of a serious work injury. Tesla, the renowned electric car company situated on the west coast has come under investigation recently after a man was injured during the making of a car. It is reported the man broke his jaw when he was hit by a skid carrier at the assembly plant. At the time of the incident, the worker was employed by a subcontractor hired by Tesla.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health has initiated an investigation to look into the work safety of the company’s facilities. Citations may be issued if a violation of safety is found. The electric car company is accused of mislabeling and miscounting injuries in the workplace as the company has increased its production to meet target goals.
